(Above) A row of difficult peaks line either side of massive Upper Slate Lake. This photo shows the peaks on the south side, from right to left: Peak "Q", Peak "R", then fading into the ridge is Peak "S" and Peak "T". This is one of the Gore Range's remote lakes, about an 11 mile hike one-way.
