Those are really beautiful pictures! It’s a great hobby that you have. I took a few pics of the falls coming out of Bubble Lake, they are at http://www.sgrhoa.net/betz/100712/ – see numbers 56 and 57 (there is some other white water at numbers 62-64 (south fork, Black Creek). As for access from the east, the road up Black Creek is private and my efforts to get access permission were totally rebuffed. The easiest way in is to park at the Brush Creek Trailhead (the road up from the highway is terrible), then go in on the magnificent ”secret” trail that is not on the USGS topo. That will get you about half way there; the rest is bushwhacking. I posted a map at http://www.sgrhoa.net/betz/bubblelakeroute.jpg.
Also, the falls on the south fork of Slate Creek are beautiful. I think Theron has pictures from July. I was there much later (September), and there was less water (see http://www.sgrhoa.net/betz/100917/ numbers 55 and 56).
I dig your style Doug. Very cool pics. Looking forward to sitting down with a cup of coffee or two for a more thorough viewing. The way our winter is shaping up, we could be looking at a fine season of waterfall hunting and viewing here in the Gore Range.
