Done some warm ups for the Gore over the last 3 weeks…Massive, Elbert, and Quandary. Feeling a need to separate from the masses. Leaving tomorrow night for a couple days around Booth Lake. Spider is top of the list. The pics I’ve seen from the summit looking down the Piney drainage have sparked my interest.
Views are fantastic, was up the Spider over 4th of July weekend. Seems like a higher elevation than what it really is given it’s position at the head of the valley and 360 degree views. Have a blast!
