Hi, there! Glad that I found this community.
I am planning a trip for June-July 2011. So far it looks like this:
Gore Creek TH – Gore Creek Trail – Gore Lake (camp) – Snow Lake – Snow Pass – Snow Peak (rad) – Deluge Lake (camp) – Mount Valhalla (rad) – Snow Belly Pass – North Creek (camp) – Boss Mine – Gore Range Trail – Squaw Creek (camp) – GRT – Lost Lake Trail – Lost Lake – Black Creek Trail – Bubble Lake or closer to Kneeknocker pass (camp) – Mount Powell (rad) – Kneeknocker Pass – Piney River Trail (camp) – Up Piney River Trail toward Spider then either Booth Pass or East Booth Pass – Booth Lake (camp) – down Booth Lake Trail – finish at BLTH.
Looking for information of how to get to Bubble Lake straight up central Black Creek Drainage (bypassing side pass that Theron took from south drainage), photos and info on East Booth Pass (the one east of the Spider).
    Thank you.

That is one heck of a traverse of the range. Respect – for even daring to take it on! I’m sure everyone will want to hear about that. The central Black Creek valley is without trails and riddled with cliffs, but can be negotiated. Bill Betz did it a couple of summers ago.

Thank you, Theron. I believe if we will make the trip it will give us true scent of the Gore. In 2009 we visited Indian Peaks and loved it. Now kids are bigger and ready for challenge.
Thanks again – I checked Bill’s trip: http://www.sgrhoa.net/betz/100712/ and would like to ask him couple questions. This might be what I am looking for.

Rock and Roll. I like the way you think. You are in the right place. I was in and around Bubble Lake this past October. Came around from Dora and Cliff Lake. A bit of a high traverse if you will. I think most people are hitting Bubble Lake via Kneeknocker. Coming down from Duck Lake, I picked up what seemed to be a bit of a trail/goat path on the south side of the drainage coming from Kneeknocker and wrapping around towards Bubble Lake. It was the closest thing to trail I saw in that part of the Upper Black Creek. Looked like continuing east down that fork of the Black Ck dropped off pretty quick. I think Theron’s route over Boomer Pass would be more approachable. Is Snowbelly Pass the same as East Traverse Pass? Very interested to see how your trip develops over next 6 months.

Thanks, Jim. We will see how it will go. That part suppose to be our 5th day in the trip with everybody well acclimatized (taking into account that we probably will spent day or two in Gore Range Camp in the beginning).
Yes, now I belive that Pass north of Deluge Lake and crossing into North Rock Creek Basin I called Snow Belly Pass (found this name first somewhere) is actually East Traverse Pass.
What will be proper name for the pass leading from Upper Piney Lake to Both Lake (sort of) – south east of the Spider?

Ormes calls that East Booth Pass. Had a nice time up there mid-oct. Climbed West Partner via west ridge from Booth Lake and passed by that pass. Very cool tarn on the Booth side of that pass.

            Thank you, Jim.

May be I will try one in the centre on first photo – I guess it leads closer to Booth Lake.
